An ad hoc…  | By ahilt21 on March 18, 2025 | Under the direction of UNO's Professor of Flute, Dr. Christine Beard and UNL's Professor of Flute, Dr. John Bailey, the Nebraska Flute Ensemble is headed to Atlanta in August to perform at the 53rd National Flute Association Convention. An ad hoc ensemble comprised of approximately a dozen professional, semi-professional, and student flutists across the state - including UNO freshman flute major Grace Dixon - the group will perform music by Tanner Harrod, Marie Sønderskov, M. Joseph Willette, Louis Raymond-Kolker, Evan LeBouef, and Jay Gilbert. The concert is scheduled for Friday, August 8 at 11:15am at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.
