Now it's time for a quick and 45 minutes with the heavy iron before retiring home for the day.  And this morning's workout is fuelled by a little Canadiana, the Gord Downie and the Sadies album, And the Conquering Sun album. This has been on my iPod for, like, ever, just waiting to be listened to and, well, today is that day I guess. Finally! And the Conquering Sun is a collaborative album released in 2014 by two of Canada's leading rock and roll darlings. The album began when The Sadies performed with Downie on the CBC Radio concert series Fuse. Downie and the Sadies subsequently continued to occasionally write songs together, eventually deciding to release their original material as an album.
