Joachim Gorrebeeck, a composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Antwerp, Belgium, is the creative force behind Taska Black, a dance music project whose genre-defying sound has swiftly made him a household name.

Despite being just four years old, Taska Black has already expanded his music project beyond the dance genre, making new inroads into the world of pop music as well.

Taska Black, who has been dubbed a "fierce talent" by Billboard Dance and hailed as a "visionary producer" by Live Nation's Ones to Watch channel, is now one of the most rapidly emerging musicians in the electronic music business and a rapidly expanding international talent.

To date, his songs "Running Away" and "In Your Eyes" have amassed over 100 million streams. It's an exciting combination of warm melodies, soaring harmony, cinematic sounds, romantic synthesisers, pop sensibilities, and anthemic vocals.

Taska was a musical genius from an early age, learning to play the violin at the age of four and the piano at the age of seven. His early classical training instilled in him the essentials of music: structure, rhythm, and texture.

Despite first being unwilling to do so It wasn't until later that his musical interests evolved and he started devouring classic rock bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana and Limp Bizkit, as well as the likes of AC/DC. From then, he developed an interest in electronic music, where he began his career as a music producer.

When it comes to performing, Taska Black is a sought-after artist who has performed at some of the world's most prestigious venues and festivals. It included stops in North America and Europe in the autumn of 2018 and spring of 2019 before returning to North America in the spring of 2019.

The summer of 2018 saw him play b2b with DROELOE at both Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in the United States and Lollapalooza Paris in Paris, France. Before embarking on his inaugural headlining 'Blacklist Tour' in the autumn of 2019 with sold-out destinations in San Francisco, Denver, and more, he performed solo at Splash House and Paradiso Festival.

His new, mature sound is fuelled by polished electronics and dramatic instrumentation, as well as an insatiable thirst for sonic invention, thanks to Taska Black's full-on swing towards pop production. Pop music's potential will be widened as he continues to push the boundaries of what can be done in the genre.

There had already been a lot of success with "Too Small For The World" "Going Nowhere" and "Home" Taska's distinctive production and Justin Gammella's ethereal vocals make this yet another stunning piece.

"Home" has been in the works since 2019 and it never seemed to click though I could never let go of it completely. After testing it out on tour the instrumentation finally started falling into place after 3 years and now the time felt right to have it be out in the open for people to hear.
