Alexa Cappelli is a 22-year-old Southern California native who works as both an artist and songwriter. From the time she was seven years old and started vocal training, Alexa gradually began to come out of her shell via stage performances and musical theatre shows.

She developed a passion for storytelling via music while studying Commercial Music at Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA). She started figuring out her artistic identity in her final year of high school.

With the publication of her debut album, "The Colors That Make You" in August 2019, she and her producer, Aaron Aiken, collaborated on three indie-pop songs that she penned.

TikTok was a key factor in the success of her songs "Forbidden" and "Say Something" and she is ecstatic when music achieves what it was intended to do: unite people. Alexa continues to compose and produce music that expresses love and truth in equal measure.

Alexa Cappelli's new tune, "broke&lonely" is taken from her upcoming EP Confused @ 22. Emotional rollercoaster ride: these songs truly carry the listener from confidence to uncertainty and back again a few times.

An inspiring sound surrounds songs about hesitation, ambivalence, and wishful thinking. Though "confused" and "twenty-two" appear in the lyrics both literally and symbolically, there is no official title track for this project.

Alexa Cappelli, a member of Team Kelly on The Voice Season 14, is a competitor in the competition. Her performance of "I've Got The Music At Me" by the Kiki Dee Band in a blind audition stunned the judges. After her team finished in the bottom four in the Live Playoffs, she was eliminated.
