The Como Brothers New Album ‘Whisper in the Wind’ Showcases Ability For Intricate Melodies & Catchy Hooks

New York-based music duo The Como Brothers have made it their mission to bring the audience with them on their indie-pop-rock journey.

Their infectious melodies and playful performances have cultivated an international fanbase, earning major TV features on shows such as E! Network’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians and sold-out local shows among other accolades. Another interesting addition in their repertoire is a series of Beatles cover albums offering a contemporary, moodier take on classic songs such as “You Can’t Do That,” a popular choice for their Spotify listeners.

Their upcoming release, a 17-track album titled Whisper in the Wind, is set to his streaming September 28th, 2026. The album — which includes select 2025 single releases and several collaborations with songwriters Sam Woolf and platinum-selling Joe Ragosta — introduces the newest musical iteration of The Como Brothers: contemporary storytellers contending with ambition and family.

The lead single and opening track, “Halo or Wings,” is co-written with Ragosta and sets a dark, gritty mood with low-tone vocals and guitar. A dampened, tom-forward percussive section builds up the chorus as they sing about a suspected angel on earth. The bridge’s harmonized chanting of “I believe, I believe, even though I can’t see / You give me, you give me all the faith that I need,” sets up a powerful final chorus.

“Somewhere in this Cup,” co-written with Woolf, channels an infectious modern country pop sound. The track explores the excitement and fear of working up the nerve to approach a love interest across multiple storylines, a change signaled by the brothers’ alternating the role of lead vocalist on each verse. It’s an uptempo, feel-good tune showcasing straightforward yet resonating lyricism.

Highlighted by the duo as illustrative of their approach to the storytelling that unites this album, “The Ride” reflects on how challenging yet worthwhile it is to chase a dream. Their repackaging of the popular sentiment becomes an anthemic melody layered atop an acoustic background. Catchy vocals in the outro leads into one more repetition of the first verse, as if to confirm that the journey is worth it even if you end up right back where you started.

The title track is another collaboration with Woolf, and one of the more classic country, folk-Americana sounding songs on this record. A shuffling percussive rhythm and plucky mandolin accompany an earnest anthem about letting go of what you cannot control so that the bigger picture can come into focus. This number is the heart of the album, delivered with clarity.

“Life With You,” the second co-write with Ragosta, closes out the album, the fully-produced twin of track seven’s acoustic version. The singer professes his devotion to his love, crooning that “the only life worth living is a life with you.” A rich organ and drawling guitar brings this piece to a close after a heartfelt last delivery of the chorus.

Whisper in the Wind continues a career of resonant entertainment for fans of this duo. The Como Brothers are currently on tour, with live shows across the nation through the end of this year.
