Nebraska All State Chorus Pianist

By ahilt21 on November 24, 2025

For the fourth consecutive year, Stacie Haneline has been invited to serve as the pianist for the Nebraska Music Educators Association (NMEA) All-State Chorus—an honor that reflects her musicianship, artistry, and distinguished reputation as one of Nebraska's leading collaborative pianists. Being selected year after year for this role signifies the deep trust she has earned from conductors, music educators, and students across the state. Her consistency, musical sensitivity, and ability to elevate large ensembles make her an invaluable artistic partner.

The NMEA All-State Choir is an elite, audition-based honor ensemble comprised of Nebraska's most outstanding high school singers, selected through a rigorous and highly competitive statewide audition process. These students rehearse under the direction of a nationally recognized conductor and ultimately perform at the Lied Center for Performing Arts in Lincoln as part of the NMEA Conference/Clinic—an educational and artistic highlight for music students and educators alike.
The role of the All-State Chorus pianist demands exceptional versatility, stamina, and musical insight. The pianist must guide large-scale rehearsals, navigate challenging scores with accuracy and agility, respond immediately to conductor cues, and support hundreds of singers with clarity, leadership, and expressive nuance. This position requires a musician who can anchor the ensemble while shaping phrasing, tempo, and musical intention in real time.
Stacie's continued appointment as the All-State Chorus pianist celebrates her enduring commitment to excellence in music education and performance throughout Nebraska.
