As someone who lives on a farm in North Garden, Virginia, Kelley is devoted when it comes to her links to the church, especially in recent years and throughout her process with this single.
Within the release, it portrays God as a friend, someone who is present and can easily reach out to Kelley. Even without the religious undertones, there are ways to interpret the song as close friends or someone extremely trustworthy.
