She also learned how to snorkel, …  | By ahilt21 on May 9, 2025 | Yedid Maya has lived in Japan for the last 2.5 years where she led kayak tours, joined and performed with a traditional Japanese drum group, taught ESL and took her Japanese writing and speaking to the next level! She also learned how to snorkel, took ski lessons and traveled to 18 prefectures! This summer she'll travel to Wisconsin to get certified to teach kayaking. Then head to Vancouver, Canada for a month to study for the CELTA certification as she makes her transition to an ESL teacher. She is currently working for OPS as a bus driver for special needs students and is a substitute teacher for the Omaha Conservatory Sprouts program.
