Andrea Nicole King Embraces Heartbreak On The Road With Latest Single 'The Greatest Attachment'

By Anna Odom on February 5, 2025

Andrea Nicole King celebrates the painful triumph of letting go in her latest heartstring-pulling single, "The Greatest Attachment."

A multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and music therapist, the nomadic artist released this heartfelt ballad January 31st, 2025, in anticipation of her upcoming album, Harvest Love, which is set to hit streaming services fittingly on Valentine's Day.

King had spent the past five years in California in a long term relationship that suddenly came to an end after she took a trip home. "The Greatest Attachment" was born out of the emotional three-day drive back to The Golden State to retrieve her belongings. Shortly after her return, Harvest Love poured out of her as she processed her loss and reclaimed power.

Deeply emotional, the music video depicts King traveling alone in different environments in her trusty van among the trees, by the water, at the cliffside, and between the mountains, as she turns to nature for healing. These visuals accompany her heartfelt melodies in this raw, honest track. The lyrics delve into the transformative feeling of letting go in the aftermath of heartache.

Regarding the upcoming album, King states, "I want this album to be a voice for anyone who has ever felt silenced in their pain. It's about reclaiming your identity and finding strength in the resilience of healing." She went on to elaborate, "Love doesn't die because it was neglected—it evolves. It's the beauty that comes after the storm, the rebirth after decay. It's the season where you plant, nurture, and Harvest Love."

Based in Northeast Ohio, King is constantly writing songs while working at a local farm, caring for individuals with dementia, and pursuing studies in music therapy. Her first album, Where Flowers Die, They Bloom, released independently in September 2023.

To King, the songs on Harvest Love make up more than an album. These tracks are a testament to growth, and proof that no matter how broken you are, you can always find your way again. The album was recorded live at Realgrey Records, offering unfiltered, heartfelt showcases of grief and courage.
