Fr… | ahilt21 April 21 | Master of Music Piano Performance student Frances Reyes was named the recipient of the Silver medal in the Icelandic Composer Class of the Northern Lights Piano Festival for her performance of Thorkell Sigurbjörnsson's "The Well Tempered Pianist." Frances is a student of Dr. Kristín Jónína Taylor. The Northern Lights Piano Festival was created with the goal to create a community and to reach pianists of all ages and levels. The Nordic Piano Competition was established in 2002 in Sweden with the purpose of promoting piano culture in the Nordic countries.
