I came home from work today and there's a record sitting on the "Now Playing" stand in the living room, something really pink upon first glance ...

... as it turns out though (I'm not gonna lie, when I saw pink I immediately thought the worst, like she was going to make me listen to an actual P¡nk album or some shit. WHEW!), Kelly had found herself a King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard album on one of her on-line auction sites somewhere on the Interwebs.
I didn't see that one coming, I assure you!

So tonight, we're listening to this Omnium Gatherum record.

Not only that, but this album released just this past April (the bands 20th release to date), is a limited pressing of only 1,500 copies worldwide in Yellowish Recycled Butterfly, so that's pretty sweet too!
It's a hodge-podge of a record with everything from Death Metal to Hip Hop and all stops in between, while having thorough and complete Like, WOW man! moments throughout all of it.
It absolutely keeps the brain a-spinnin'.

Even more importantly, Kelly DIDN'T immediately hate it.
Like, at all.
Nope.
There was no scratching out of eyes or anything!

A total surprise victory for this auspicious-looking pink record.
