Sweetwater's Don Carr demos the new Parallax pedal from Keeley! The Keeley Parallax is a convenient, two-in-one solution for usable, ethereal reverbs and delays ranging from experimental to classic and everywhere in between. Possible sounds include shoegaze-style pads, shimmering octaves, rich modulation, and even traditional 'verb tones with a twist. Three reverb options — hall, reverse, and soft focus — are heavily inspired by classic rack unit effects of the late '80s and early '90s, including a well-regarded Yamaha patch that shaped songs on multiple cult-classic '90s shoegaze albums. Controls are highly tweakable with five parameters per section, plus independent on/off switching and a handy selectable true bypass/trails mode for tailoring decay. Check it out!
