I'm bored AF.

I don't have to work tomorrow, I napped earlier, I'm quite done with reading for the afternoon, and I don't want to sit in front of the television any more. A great Sunday — don't get me wrong — but it's only 6:10pm and I can't go back to bed now!
Instead, I'm going to try and tap out another page or two on the "book project" and listen to this Cerulean album by a band called The Ocean Blue.

In case you didn't know (I didn't), The Ocean Blue are an American indie pop band formed in Hershey, Pennsylvania in 1986.
Huh.

It's another rescue from the "Big Box of Cassettes" in the spare bedroom.
This album, released back in 1991, Cerulean retains the glossy, thoroughly pretty ultra-pop feel of their self-titled debut, but ends up showcasing some of the band's dreamier elements as well. The album comes across as a polished-over combination of the Housemartins and the Cocteau Twins, and it's certainly the most textured and dreamy of the group's releases.
