In celebration of the August bank holiday long weekend this year, we decided to curate a three-day billing of live music at East London institute The Victoria. Limited Early Bird Tickets (day and weekend) are on sale now via DICE here.
Many of the acts you will have read about on this site, some may be new. Friday we have live performances by psychedelic explorers Mandrake Handshake, noise/post-rock outfit Butch Kassidy, headboy and Flat Party. Saturday will see explosive post-punk act Saloon Dion, Gag Salon, Kyoto Kyoto and Ellie Bleach perform. Then on Sunday we will have Hand Of God (an improv 'supergroup' that has seen members of KEG, Opus Kink & Fake Turins play of late) perform a late set, dreamy synth-pop duo Speedboat, Bristol country-rock lot Langkamer, lilo and Symbol Soup.
