Wisconsin-based Restless Modern is a 25-year-old music producer, vocalist, and song composer.

A Colorado native who grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, he first went to Harvard to study economics before finding that his innate desire to be an artist was too strong to ignore. "Navigator" by MOONZz was one of the first songs he created for other artists, amassing more than 15 million streams and being used in a national Hulu ad campaign.

From then on out his own music was born, drawing inspiration from the likes of EDM and hip-hop musicians like Kanye West and My Chemical Romance's Lido, as well as artists like Bon Iver, Elton John, black bear, and Kanye West's My Chemical Romance.

For around a year, Restless Modern released over 30 tracks on his own, honing his craft and creating a distinct sound for his artist project. After that, he released the terrifying sky EP, which served as a bridge between his previous work and the "a likeness complicit" EP, which will be released in 2022.

An accessible aspect that belies the sincere and substantial message of Restless Modern's music may be found in the natural blend of controlled chaos and scathing lyrics with evocative sonics and approachable nature.

Over 23 million Spotify listens and inclusions on important editorial playlists including Pop Rising, young & free, sorrowful hour, and Good Vibes have been achieved as a result of this success. Billboard, Lyrical Lemonade, MTV, and Atwood have all highlighted him.

A 1950s song by Restless Modern, "I Hate That I'm Addicted to the Internet," is a sleight of hand trick in which the algorithms of today's online world effectively substitute your own agency of choice with a curated smorgasbord of pre-determined possibilities.

Even while it's simple to point the finger at the big business for exploiting our most primal desires, how much responsibility do we bear for the ravenous pleasure centres in our brains that we push and prod in our quest for gratification that never comes?

An example of this is the phrase "I Hate That I'm Addicted To The Internet" which shows how the monster is fuelled by our own personal needs, anxieties and obsessions, trapping children into a vacuous cycle of frantic performance.
