Phe R.E.D.S is a Cambodian-Chinese American musician known as Leng Phe. One of Seattle's most innovative indie record labels, called H1GHR Music, has added him to its roster. He started creating music since he didn't see anybody like him doing it, and Jay Park discovered him via Seattle's local hip hop and breakdance community.

'Remember Every Dream Stolen,' an acronym formed from his surname and the phrase "remember every dream stolen," honours his family's experience fleeing Cambodia under the Khmer Rouge regime. To overcome generational curses, it acts as a reminder to find one's aspirations and live them out for those who didn't make it.

"Smile" was Phe R.E.D.S's first release, followed by "Love On You" (Prod. GRAY), "Your Hands" (Feat. Jay Park) (Prod. GRAY), "Way 2 You" (Prod. Cha Cha Malone) and "Senseless" (Feat. pH-1) in 2017. (Prod. WOOGIE).

Following the release of his track "Swing My Way" on the highly acclaimed [H1GHR: BLUE TAPE] label compilation album, Phe R.E.D.S has taken time off during Covid to concentrate on personal wellbeing. When he's not spending time with his loved ones, he's attending flight school to fulfil another longstanding ambition of his. He was energised and said that "Closer" is a powerful comeback.

With the release of his new track, "Closer," Phe R.E.D.S returns to the music scene with another Seattle-based musician. The H1GHR MUSIC-released R&B song illustrates the ebb and flow of a growing romance. "Closer," a song modelled after a conversation, captures the tumultuous feelings that accompany working out one's feelings for a crush and coming to a decision about where things stand.

Phe R.E.D.S delivers the cautious and guarded perspective of someone who has suffered loss and disappointment in the past. This is a preview of the Phe R.E.D.S. project, created by label member and close friend Cha Cha Malone.
