Jolin Jiang Releases Self-produced "The Monkey And The Tree (I love you, I tolerate you)"
Australian singer and songwriter, Jolin Jiang has finally dished out her latest song "The Monkey and the Tree (I love you, I tolerate you)"
Jolin Jiang's "The Monkey and The Tree" (I love you, I tolerate you) skillfully mixes today's taste in pop with the luscious jazz tones of the early twentieth century, creating a song that is both creative and fascinating in both style and sound.
Simple sophistication is exemplified in this song, which uses metaphor to entice us in lively, impassioned lyrics to stimulate our interest.
Jiang takes us inside her desires and distress with a smooth and wide-ranging voice and a wonderfully demure, yet dominating attitude.
Jiang's works are noted for their introspective and dramatic aspects, as well as a hint of East & Southeast Asian aesthetics, thanks to 18 years of classical music study in Shanghai and Sydney.
Many of the projects on which she has worked have been evaluated and exclusively published by the Sydney Morning Herald.
She also worked as a session musician for the SBS TV show New Gold Mountain, where she played the guqin. Follow her on social media via on Instagram via @jolinjiang
