DJ Karaba Goes Back To Her "Roots" With This New Song

Sensational Grenoble DJ, DJ Karaba is here again with "Roots" which is energizing and spicy.

"Roots," a new song, recreates the style of South African Amapiano and is a feel-good music ideal for dancing.

The title of the song refers to DJ Karaba's Congo-Brazzaville roots and seems like a homecoming to Africa for her.

There is no halt or slowing down. Her passion, her want to see others dance and experience the music the way she does, is ambitious and all-consuming.

DJ Karaba is presently working on her own project - an EP that will mix her passion of creativity and motion for music fans, as well as her aim to master production – with Young Galaxy's Stephen Ramsay, whom she credits as a crucial mentor and partner during the process.

Karaba's entire existence has been defined by music and (literal) movement. Karaba was born in Grenoble, France, and relocated to Montreal when he was seven years old.

Karaba was engaged in dance as a kid, which would become the next important step in her creative path and her first passion.

Karaba, who has always identified herself as an immigrant, moved to significant musical markets to study dance, first to New York when she was 20 years old, and then to Los Angeles in 2014.

Karaba performed for some of pop music's biggest names, including Drake, Camilla Cabello, and Selena Gomez, as well as starring in countless music videos and award events while in Los Angeles.

When a major tour was canceled in 2016, Karaba felt helpless to move forward with her career. She eventually found her way to DJing and music creation, which had been a nagging concept in the back of her mind for some time.

Karaba believes she discovered a revitalized artistic purpose after enrolling in the DJ Scratch Academy in Los Angeles.
