Cydney is a musician from Brooklyn, New York. Her music is a kaleidoscope of pop and indie sounds, with soulful vocals thrown in.
Cydney was born and raised in Connecticut, where she grew up listening to Bonnie Raitt, The Police, and Frank Sinatra in the vehicle with her family.
She continued her schooling as a performer at The Educational Center for the Arts, fueled by a passion for the arts and a supportive and caring family. Afterwards, she pursued acting at Emerson College and singing at Berklee School of Music.
Cydney graduated from Shelton High School and New Haven's Education Center for the Arts. Grace Like Fire was created in the midst of the epidemic and documented on video and tape.
With a dance-pop rhythm, the song explores the cyclical cycle of existence and how things are destroyed to create room for something new.
It was directed, shot, and edited by Brian Michael Suggs for Grace Like Fire's music video, which was shot in Raleigh, North Carolina. Carrie Busuttil co-wrote and produced the song.
In addition to the International Sound Music Video Awards, the Munich Music Video Awards have recognised the Grace Like Fire music video as an official contender.
