Charles Fauna Shares New Jamming Song "Ciao"
American singer cum songwriter, Charles Fauna is currently out with this song and he christens it "Ciao".
"Ciao" is danceable, emotional music that draws inspiration from artists such as Fleetwood Mac, The Weeknd, and Bruno Mars.
A steady pace propels a funk bass lick that complements Fauna's smooth voice flawlessly with a wonderful finale provided by a saxophone flourish that brings everything together.
For Charles Fauna, this song is about overthinking, that obsession of both the past and future and he sings, "Give me an inch towards the crazy and I'll give you a mile," ultimately "Ciao" is a song about unwavering positivity.
As Fauna puts it, "Attempting to think less and do more". He's free of the suffocating grasp of worry and sadness, and he's ready to carve the greatest version of himself.
Charles Fauna has been lured to the glitter and glam, the theatrical style of the show industry since he was a youngster. His father, a television producer, allowed Charles to accompany him to award events and concerts.
Even back then, Charles had a feeling it will be him on stage one day. Before moving on to his teen songwriting phase, he pursued drum classes and trained himself to play the piano.
When it came to college, the prospect of pursuing full-time was too overwhelming. As a result, he went to NYU to study Sociology and relegated music-making to his dorm room.
However, as time passed, Charles found himself in a close-knit society of like-minded artists. And, at the age of 24, he founded Paideia, an experimental music project.
However, as he gained confidence, he realized that adopting this pseudonym was a method of protecting himself from vulnerability, from completely owning his talent.
As a result, in 2017, he dropped the stage name and began recording songs under his own name. And it's safe to assume that success has followed, with millions of streams, critical acclaim, and a slot at SXSW.
Eulogy, his debut EP, was published in 2019. Yonder, his debut album, was released in 2020. Meanwhile, listen to the new song below and follow him on social media via @charlesfuana on Facebook and Instagram.
