She is a modern RnB musician from a little town in Connecticut. She learned to sing and play the piano with her mother, who instilled a lifelong love of music in her when she was only five years old.
When Alisa Velasquez began recording professionally in 2015, she was influenced by the likes of Celine Dion and Mariah Carey and has since worked with artists and producers from across the globe and performed at weddings, festivals, and charitable events.
The death of her mother in 2020 has given Alisa a renewed desire to pursue her artistic goals, and she intends to continue to serve as a good role model for her daughter. On February 14, 2021, Alisa released her first official track to the public. 'Hold Me Close' 'My Love' and 'In Bloom' all of which she wrote and produced/engineered herself, was presented to us. The songs in this compilation are all about falling in love.
Tonal Graffiti didn't realise that Alisa Velasquez had just lost her mother and broken up with her boyfriend all within a short period of time when she approached them for a collaboration. Together, they composed the song "Stronger," and something remarkable happened as the song came to completion.
"Stronger," an anthem for anybody who has faced hardship, was composed, recorded, and unleashed into the world with Alisa's strong soulful and sincere singing. Emotion is the source of all music; whether it brings us joy, sorrow, or a sense of empowerment, it is the sensation it arouses that serves as the basis for its narrative or personal resonance.
