Canada's Spence Paull is an indie-pop singer-songwriter-music producer who is breaking out of the confines of the bedroom pop world with a more mature and deliberate sound, articulating her sentiments as if you've been there with her through the experience.

Spence Paull draws on her diverse musical background to produce a sound that is both innovative and cross-genre in nature. Spence was born deaf and lived with her grandmother, who served as an inspiration and role model for her when she was less than eight years old. Spence began writing and recording her own music at the age of eleven, shortly after her grandmother passed away.

She trained with Juno Award winner Angela Kelman of Farmer's Daughter and has performed on some of Vancouver's most prestigious stages, including the Queen Elizabeth Theatre and Nat Bailey Stadium, among others. Spence was offered a Choral Scholarship with the elite University of King's College Chapel Choir, which is led by Paul Halley, a six-time Grammy Award winner, after leaving Vancouver to pursue her Bachelor of Commerce in Finance.

Spence Paull draws on her diverse musical background to create a unique sound, drawing influence from the ear candy chord patterns of jazz, the strong horn lines of big band, and the story-rich lyrics of musical theatre. Spence Paull's work is available on iTunes and Spotify. The combination of alt-leaning production, seductive pop melodies, and remarkably honest lyrics results in songs that catch and fascinate both young and elderly listeners alike.

Following the success of her three previous single releases in 2021, which included her first hit Do You Listen To Girl In Red, Crush, and Christmas Eve, Spence is gearing up for a big year in 2022 with a new album. Currently, she is working on a concept album titled "Dear Mistress," which portrays the ups and downs of a musician's love with music against the background of a troubled relationship. Aside from that, Spence continues to collaborate closely with other young artists in the role of Music Producer, and he continues to deliver catchy pop tunes.

She is now working on a project called "When I'm Lonely," which incorporates elements of 80s pop, big band trumpet lines, and contemporary production. Spence's newest track, "When I'm Lonely," is a shining example of her unique genre-crossing sound. The music is certain to get you up and dancing, as well as making you think about that one person you know you shouldn't.
