A mixture of "Let No Man Steal Your Thyme" by the Pentangle and "Don Juan" by the Pet Shop Boys.
Nope, just a shit pun.
I'd put a link but I can't be arsed, plus it'd be cruel to make it easier for you to hear this crap.
This blog tends to lean towards the stuff I like, but sometimes it's time to cover other stuff. On this occasion I only checked out Juan Thyme because I wanted to reassure myself that the sorts of morons who send me threats of violence on social media are probably the sorts of people who don't get where I and my blog are coming from. And yeah, based on the music Don'tmakemelistentothisshitanotherThyme is really not my kinda guy.
Looking at Don'tmakemelistentothisshitanotherThyme's bandcamp page there are plenty of signs that the listening experience is going to be deeply unpleasant. Dance music is club music. Dance music for fields and festivals tends to be inferior hippy-shit nonsense for the sorts of people who don't understand the history of house and techno, and instead think that they can take their soulless white-boy schtik, add some beats and suddenly it's funky. No, wrong, I have take dumps funkier than this crap.
"Banging"... some great techno can be banging, but usually the best has so much more to it that that simple repetitive bang.
"Chillout" is boring electronica for people who hate funk, soul and dance.
Banging and chillout are opposites.
So when you try to combine them you get boring soulless shitronica, with a hint at shit boring soulless techno.
Sounds like it was made by a boring old hippy who never got mid-80s house and whose music taste has never even vaguely caught up with what good. The sounds are dull and sound cheap.
Music for 60 year olds who think that white boy dreads shouldn't be punished by death.
Fuck abysmal IMHO. SHIT. SHIT. SHIT. SHIT.
