This is a brilliant piece of pop a capella. PENTATONIX and ATEEZ is the best combination I could ever pull from a magic hat.
Let's see what we have here!
A Little Space is an excellent piece of a capella pop. It combines the greatness of pop music and integrates the soulful and technical excellence of a capella. I am a little amazed at this track as I usually cringe for a capella covers and arrangements on Hollywood. PENTATONIX is different from the usual, they have great artistic mastery, authenticity and soul. ATEEZ is a great combination to this single.
This song talks about giving a little space in a confusing and complicated relationship. I guess it perfectly fits the scenario and is well written. There were some cliches here and there but I guess the song uses its vocal arrangement well to be creative enough in delivering it. The instrumentation is rather more on point. It gives depth and airyness to the song, the talkbox is interesting in that it heavily compliments the a capella. But I guess we gotta talk about the vocals. It was phenomenal, brilliant and original. ATEEZ gave it a Korean twist and I gotta give it up to them for whiplashing it.
The musical direction is very straightforward and not haphazard. It is definitely a breathe of fresh air after listening to this. In this week of the mont I have been exposed to more blizzards and tsunamis than the Revelations have revealed. I'm thankful! It's structure, and cadence are a bit mild and too glossy for me but it helps a lot with the song certainly. The track's cohesion, and style are exceptional. It is smooth, breezy and fluid whilst maintaining substanial ingeniuity and rhythm. Lastly, it ascends to classic territory fro its amazing production and breathtaking mixing and mastering. It is one of the year's best in that regard.
Overall
I am happy with this one. Yes, it seems quite boring and tone sufficient enough for a barebones pop fanatic, but I'll get what I can get. While there are many more adjustments that need to be made, I guess it all comes down to preference. This time, ATEEZ and PENTATONIX have greatly delivered that excellent match. I'll be jamming to this!
